10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed or equivalent from a recognized board.
Typing Speed: 30 w.p.m. in English OR 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 01.07.2025, i.e., born between 02-07-2000 and 01-07-2007).
Age Relaxation (as per rules):
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 to 15 years (depending on category)
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service
Departmental Candidates (Delhi Police): Up to 40 years (UR/EWS), 43 years (OBC), 45 years (SC/ST)
Delhi Police Head Constable Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 Marks
Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) – Qualifying
Typing Test on Computer – 25 Marks
Computer (Formatting) Test – Qualifying
Final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks scored in CBE and Typing Test.
