Regulation, the new selection criteria for the Chandigarh Police ASI Bharti 2022
include the Tier-1 Objective Type Written Test, Tier-2 Subjective Type Written
Test, Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT), etc. The Selection
Process includes the following Stages:
- Objective Type Tier-1 Written Exam
- Subjective Type Tier-2 Written Test
- Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT)

Test shall be based on General Knowledge/ Current Affairs, I.T. Knowledge, IQ,
Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Ethics, and questions shall be multiple choice
objective types and will carry one mark for every correct answer and a negative
marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer

Physical Standards
- Height: 5.7 inches for Male & 5.2 inches for Female
- Relaxable to notified Hill Area residents by 5 cms
- Chest (Male): 33 Inches with an expansion of 1.5 Inches
- Race (Male): One mile in Six minutes
- Race (Female): 500 meters in Two minutes & Thirty Seconds
- For Ex-Serviceman above 35 years of age, Physical Efficiency Test will consist of one mile jogging in 10 minutes.
- Long Jump: 14 Feet (Male) & 8 Feet (Female)
- High Jump: 4 Feet (Male) & 3 Feet (Female)
